ABOUT US

THE FARM

THE PROPERTY

Spend time up-close with our animals and have fun collecting eggs from our chickens or feeding the horses and hanging out with the miniature goats.  Bird watch. Play old-fashioned lawn games, picnic on the hill and take in the view, gather wild berries, or complete a nature scavenger hunt. Learn about composting and participate in the different types we practice on the farm.

Check out our cut-flower gardens and perhaps even pick your own.  Peruse our vegetable and herb patch, which provides many of the delicious ingredients for our home-cooked breakfasts.

OUR ANIMALS

Currently, we have 15 hens (5 different breeds), 3 Nigerian dwarf goats (Dobby, Winky and Michael) Mrs. Pickles our dog, Ernie our reluctant barn cat, Siri and Lila the resident Yellow Farmhouse Inn horse mascots.

THINGS TO DO AROUND THE FARM

We have 3 outdoor porches around the Farmhouse on which to relax, swing, rock, watch the animals, enjoy a meal, catch the sunrise/sunset and even stargaze.  Our back hill features two picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and a hammock.

Guests looking for some active fun can try lawn games, walking in the woods, picking berries and apples in season, walking on Old County Road or taking a ride around on our complimentary bikes.
