Spend time up-close with our animals and have fun collecting eggs from our chickens or feeding the horses and hanging out with the miniature goats. Bird watch. Play old-fashioned lawn games, picnic on the hill and take in the view, gather wild berries, or complete a nature scavenger hunt. Learn about composting and participate in the different types we practice on the farm.
Check out our cut-flower gardens and perhaps even pick your own. Peruse our vegetable and herb patch, which provides many of the delicious ingredients for our home-cooked breakfasts.
Currently, we have 15 hens (5 different breeds), 3 Nigerian dwarf goats (Dobby, Winky and Michael) Mrs. Pickles our dog, Ernie our reluctant barn cat, Siri and Lila the resident Yellow Farmhouse Inn horse mascots.
We have 3 outdoor porches around the Farmhouse on which to relax, swing, rock, watch the animals, enjoy a meal, catch the sunrise/sunset and even stargaze. Our back hill features two picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and a hammock.
Guests looking for some active fun can try lawn games, walking in the woods, picking berries and apples in season, walking on Old County Road or taking a ride around on our complimentary bikes.
